Tom is a graduate of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood (2006, B.A. Philosophy) and Villanova University (2020, M.S. Church Management). The first part of his career was spent in Catholic education as a Theology teacher and Director of Campus Ministry at several area private and Archdiocesan high schools. While working at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Tom came to know many Saint Monica families and experienced for the first time their pride in and dedication to this parish community.
After serving in Catholic education for eleven years, Tom moved into a new role as Vice Chancellor and Assistant to the Bishop for Administrative Matters in the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey for three years. In September of 2020, Tom joined the pastoral team at Saint Monica as Director of Parish Mission Support. He assists Father Zlock in overseeing the various administrative responsibilities which are part of the everyday life and mission of the parish. Some of his responsibilities include advising Father in the stewardship of goods and shepherding of people and interfacing with parishioners, partners in the wider community, and Archdiocesan offices. Tom's role allows him to utilize his professional experience, education, and charisms in the crafting and advancement of the strategic mission and vision set forth for The Church of Saint Monica.
