Summary of the Meeting on December 11, 2022
The Envisioning Team met as a core group of ten members and recommitted to the group’s purpose as set out by Archbishop Perez: to develop three parish priorities and six corresponding "SMART Goals" based on those parish values. We began reviewing St. Monica’s Disciple Maker Index Survey and Focus Group Summaries. The group identified key drivers that are strengths, opportunities and identified some other areas to explore. The next meeting will take place on January 29, 2023 in order to develop a preliminary list of three to five priorities.
Summary of the Meeting on January 29, 2023
The core group of ten members, including Reverend Paul O’Donnell, met. The group shared findings including: stakeholder viewpoints and conversations and themes below the DMI data. We developed a preliminary list of five priorities for the Church. During the next meeting on February 13, we will discuss rationale and data behind the priorities.
Summary of the Meeting on February 13, 2023
The group has narrowed down the list from five to three priorities for the parish and have divided the team into subgroups. Our next meeting is scheduled for March 12 where each subgroup will be presenting its priority’s rationale to the group. Additionally, we are preparing to invite stakeholders to a focus group meeting on March 26.
