The Patricia DeHaven Scholarship Fund was created by William DeHaven as a tribute to his late wife who was a fervent supporter of Catholic education. Catholic education is also a priority to the members of Saint Monica Church. Those who donate to the Patricia DeHaven Scholarship Fund feel that financial need should not impede any student from receiving a Catholic education.
Each year, Saint Monica will award up to $1,500 for a Saint Monica parishioner(s) to attend a local Archdiocesan or private Catholic school (elementary, high school, or college). If you would like some assistance in paying your Catholic education tuition, please fill out the application below by April 15. All applicants will learn of their award by May 30.
To be considered for this award:
1 - the student(s) and parent(s) must be active Saint Monica parishioners
2 - the student must plan to attend a Catholic school for the next academic year
3 - the student must be active in school, sports or church activities
4 - the student must have a good academic record
5 - the parent(s) and student must be involved in community service
