The Religious Education Program is offered to all parishioners in grades one through six who are currently attending non-Catholic schools from 6:00 – 7:15 p.m. on most Monday evenings beginning September 8th and continuing through the first few weeks of May. Please see the Religious Education Program and Children’s Church Program calendar posted on this website for details.
The Religious Education Program is staffed by approximately 35 dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers of all ages. These volunteers give generously of their time and talent to support the parents in fostering God’s love, presence, and example in our young parishioners.
Mission Statement
We are called by our Baptism to grow in hope and love and to respond to our challenge as Catholics to spread the Word of God. In answer to this call, our mission is to offer education and opportunities for spiritual growth of both the students and catechists of the program. The Religious Education Program of Saint Monica Parish strives to assist parents in helping their children to develop a life-long relationship with Jesus through the teachings of beliefs, doctrine, tradition and service to others.
